About Us
Welcome to Tumbles Academy of Gymnastics!
Founded in 2017 by former Scottish National Coach and primary school teacher Gemma Scott, alongside World Champion Donna Maclean, Tumbles Academy was created with a simple goal: to give children of all ages, abilities and experience levels the opportunity to discover, enjoy and thrive through gymnastics.
From recreational gymnastics through to competitive, we believe every child should have the opportunity to learn, challenge themselves and experience the many benefits that gymnastics can bring.
A Place to Learn, Grow & Have Fun
At Tumbles, we create an environment that is informative, fun and challenging, where children can build confidence, develop new skills and achieve goals they can be proud of.
Our small-group classes are led by highly qualified British Gymnastics coaches, who work closely with each child to understand their individual needs and help them progress at their own pace.
Whether your child is taking their first steps into gymnastics or working towards competitive success, our experienced team is here to support them every step of the way.
More Than Just Gymnastics
We believe gymnastics is about much more than learning physical skills. It helps children develop confidence, resilience, discipline, coordination and a positive mindset — skills that can benefit them both inside and outside the gym.
Throughout the year, we also host a range of events, displays and competitions, giving children the chance to celebrate their achievements, showcase their progress and set themselves new goals. These are special occasions for our gymnasts and something the whole family can enjoy and look forward to.
From Small Beginnings to a Growing Gymnastics Community
What started as a small club in 2017 has grown into a thriving gymnastics community.
Today, Tumbles Academy operates from two full-time facilities, with more than 1,000 children attending classes with us every week.
While we've grown considerably, our passion remains the same: creating a positive environment where every child feels supported, encouraged and inspired to be the best they can be.
