Welfare Officers

Katy Johnson

Concerned?

Safeguarding children is the action we take to promote the welfare of children and protect them from harm. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. Every single person who comes into contact with children and families has a role to play.

If you think the matter is not immediate you can discuss with:

  • Your child's coach
  • Our Welfare Officer's
  • A member of British Gymnastics Safeguarding team
  • Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)

If you think a child is in immediate danger of abuse or risk of harm, contact the police on 999.

Should you wish to raise or report a welfare concern; please contact the Club Welfare Officer directly:

  • Gemma Scott / Katy Johnson
  • welfare@tumbles-gymnastics.co.uk
  • 07738953081

Alternatively, you can contact the North West Region Welfare Offices:

  • Justine Caroll
  • northwest.rwo@british-gymnastics.org

Or Helen Murphy, British Gymnastics Safeguarding Officer for the North:

  • helen.murphy@british-gymnastics.org
  • 07860 84416
